The pieces of writing themselves are also featured in collage or print. Themes include unconditional love, letting go of fear, the celebration of spring, following your heart, the adoration of dogs, and the ethical example set by elephants. In this series, Garrard explores emotional expressions that seamlessly intertwine spirituality, nature, animals, and humankind. Selections shown below.
Erin Ashlee Smith‘s work explores the use of sacred images with emotion-evoking colors. Her intention is to generate a positive energy through the use symbols and colors and soothe the viewer’s mind. A calm mind is receptive to the meditation process. In this series, she strives to break through to the deeper levels of our minds and to inspire, illuminate, and lift the human spirit.
Photographer David Bowers‘ work focuses on creative and dynamic moments of time, with emphasis in individual portraiture. In “Breathe” he will exhibit photographs taken of local yoga practitioners. His photography aims to draw out the underlying uniqueness, character, and beauty of people and their environments.
